Platform Limitations — Manual Checks Required

  • /home/about 301: Base44 is a React SPA — true HTTP 301 requires CDN/hosting-level configuration. The in-app Navigate replace redirect handles all JS-enabled crawlers. Configure a server-level redirect in your CDN (Vercel, Cloudflare, Netlify) pointing /home/about → /about.
  • X-Robots-Tag header: Cannot be set per-route in a React SPA. All private routes use noindex meta tag instead. For X-Robots-Tag, configure at CDN/server level for /user/* paths.
  • Per-page SSR metadata: Base44 serves a single index.html for all routes. Page-specific title/description changes require SPA-level meta injection (SeoHead component) which updates the DOM after JS loads. For true SSR, a Next.js migration or edge rendering configuration is needed.
  • Homepage metadata: Set in index.html — served in raw HTML to all crawlers including Googlebot.
  • robots.txt: Accessible at /robots.txt — confirmed live and serving correct directives.
  • sitemap.xml: Public URLs only, private and redirect routes excluded.
